Leaders see greatness in others. For some, they see laziness, lack of mental toughness, poor execution, lack of finesse, etc. Any leader that sees all these inadequacies is consciously not fulfilling the great purpose of leadership.
A great leader sees and speaks greatness into the lives of their team members. By continuously showing team members the great potentials residing within them, the leader creates internal motivation for them to rise above inadequacies, and defend their capabilities.
As a leader, when next you look at people, look beyond the present abilities and see further beyond their horizons of limitations. See greatness and speak greatness to them, thereby opening before them a world of great possibilities where they can emerge as players in the future. Letting your followers and team members know they have appointment to fulfill in the near future is a great incentive for relentless growth and successful execution.
