1. Target measurement. This Key Performance Indicator (KPI) measures what was achieved against set target to determine the level of results/performance by an individual.
  2. The purpose indicator. This indicator measures the actions of the leader against the baseline purpose for an activity. The purpose indicator helps to establish the degree of compliance with the original purpose of the leader against what is being implemented overtime.
  3. Customer Satisfaction. This indicator measures the level of satisfaction of customers or the audience being served against predetermined parameters. Customer satisfaction indicator helps the leader to assess their team performance to determine whether they have met customer expectations or have exceeded them.
  4. Internal Process Quality. This measure helps to evaluate the internal activities of the team in terms of how they deliver their core values, comply with processes, safety and procedures while delivering goods and services.
  5. Employee Satisfaction. This measure helps a leader to evaluate the expectations of their team based on critical issues and establish their contentment or happiness with organizational policies and how their needs and desires get fulfilled. Essentially, there are key factors employees look out for to enhance their state of happiness and contention. These include hygienic working and safe environment, commensurate wage and benefits policy, recognition, career progression, platform to unionize/socialize with their colleagues and fair/transparent/nondiscriminatory conditions of service.
  6. Financial Performance Index. This is a key component of the leader’s evaluation tool as it measures cash inflow against revenue. To enhance the ability of the leader to drive their programs and projects, finance is a key indicator. Measurement of performance using this KPI will enhance planning, budgeting, clogging of leakages and efficient implementation of budgeted items
  7. Speaking engagements indicator. Often, leaders measure the number of speaking engagements carried out against what was planned or what the market space provides to assess their performance and share of the market. For trainers and motivational speakers, speaking engagement indicator helps them to assess the influence level in their niche community.
  8. Post indicator. Post indicator helps a leader to measure the number of posts in an area against the total number of post in a period. It can also measure their individual posts against total number planned to evaluate their performance level. These posts could be blog post, articles, press releases, etc.
