Execution Leadership: Which Style Will Be Most Effective?

A lot of leadership styles have been advanced by several
studies which classifies these styles into:

coercive,
authoritative,
affirmative,
democratic,
pacesetter,
mentoring/coaching, etc.

The focus of execution leadership is result alignment with aspiration. To this extent,

honesty, integrity and result delivery skills separates an

effective execution leader from name-plate CEOs.

Goal execution are susceptible to surprises which are

mostly unplanned for. The truth is that the devil is in every

execution plan.
Most surprises are bad news and many
times constitute setbacks. The execution leader must honestly report these bad news to gain respect and support from team members instead of hiding behind

facades. Rather than trade blame of who did wrong or why things went wrong, execution leaders must stand upright,

redirect team members to set goals and genuinely implement recovery plans.
